Mrs. Michele Hylton-Terry is a FutureMaker who is an accomplished professional and certified redevelopment administrator who is deeply committed to our SWFL community. Mrs. Michele Hylton-Terry is the Executive Director of the Fort Myers Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), where together with her staff, she manages the Agency’s $12.5 million budget to execute and implement community redevelopment plans to advance businesses, transform communities, and redevelop Fort Myers for the future. Mrs. Michele Hylton-Terry is deeply committed to our SWFL community expressed through her civic activities. Mrs. Michele Hylton-Terry currently serves as President, Trustee of Unity of Fort Myers, having previously been Vice President, Trustee the two previous years. Mrs. Michele Hylton-Terry currently serves on the Florida Redevelopment Association Board of Directors, the state association providing support to CRA’s around the state of Florida. She has been an active member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Fort Myers Alumnae Chapter since 2017, serving as First Vice President from 2019-2020. Her commitment to education is demonstrated by her Board Membership on the Basic Learning Skills Foundation. Mrs. Michele Hylton-Terry’s heart for the community is shown by her service to the United Way of Lee, Hendry, and Glades, where she serves as a Committee Member for the City of Fort Myers. She previously served on the Lee County Neighborhood Accountability Board and co-chaired a United Way Allocations Team. Mrs. Michele Hylton-Terry thrives in dynamic and changing environments while remaining focused on improving our community in all aspects of her life.
